Tom learned how to climb out of his crib so for safety reasons we upgraded him to the toddler bed a little bit ahead of schedule. He's been sleeping well in it and has only fallen out a few times (oops!).

Father's Day
For Father's Day, we wanted to take Jake camping but we had overnight guests on Friday so we improvised and set up our new tent in the backyard along with the pool. Tom loved sleeping in the tent a little too much, he was too wound up to sleep until much later than his bedtime. But we eventually got him to sleep.
Fish Hatchery
We went to the fish hatchery with Christine and Wyatt. The kids loved feeding the fish and the ducks. Wyatt even tried to feed them his sunglasses but they were unimpressed. =) The fish went crazy with every little pellet thrown into the water. There were even some fish trying to jump up the waterfalls from one tank to another. Afterward, the kiddos had fun running around and having a snack together.
Crazy fish!

Vegas, Baby!
We went to spent the weekend with Auntie Molly, Unk Herm and Cuz Naomi
in Las Vegas. Tom just loves Naomi and couldn't wait to get there. We
went to Boulder City and rode on the train, then we went to Hoover Dam which Tom just loved!! That night we went to sushi and then to a big
outdoor shopping mall and the kids played at the playground while Molly
and I shopped. =)

We had Chinese food at Gram and Grandpa's house for Mother's Day dinner. Also, check out my Mother's Day/Birthday gift. A new beach cruiser! Lucky me!!
Mother's Day at the Gardens
We spent Mother's Day at the water conservation garden in Santa Clarita. They have lots of native plants and trees as well as ideas and tips for home gardens. It was a beautiful day and everything was blooming beautifully!
