Silliness on Fall Break

For fall break, we got together with the Andrews' kiddos and did a fall craft as well as some goofy disguise pictures. Tom was especially fond of the glasses.

Lombardi Ranch-2012

We went to Lombardi Ranch on opening day this fall with our friends, Nate and Christine, and their son, Wyatt. The boys had a lot of fun pretending to drive the trucks, watching the livestock, riding the train and horse-drawn wagon. We picked up a small pumpkin for Tom and finished the day with a wheelbarrow ride for the boys.

Balch Park-September 2012

For Jake's 30th birthday, we went camping in Balch Park in the Sequoia National Forest. We had beautiful weather while everyone back home was roasting in 108 degree heat. We went for hikes, fed the ducks and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The giant trees were very impressive, they were big enough to walk around in. The campground had a number of man-made lakes for fishing. Tom wanted to put his feet in but got bogged down in the mud on the shore and fell on his tush. He was not amused. But he did enjoy feeding the ducks and helping Daddy gather wood for our fire. Unlike other campgrounds, at Balch Park, you are encouraged to pick up downed limbs to use for your fire. It was a fun weekend!
