6 month checkup

Tom had his 6 month checkup with Dr. Colby. He's now 16 lbs, 13 ounces (35th percentile for weight), 26 3/4 inches long (50th percentile for height) and Dr. Colby said he's doing beautifully. We agree.

Big Boy Bath

Now that Tom can sit up unsupported, he can take a bath in the bathtub. He was getting too big for the infant tub. He's still learning to splash around.

Uncle Steve ran the Carlsbad 1/2 marathon (He's the one in black with the sunglasses.) so we decided to go down and cheer him on. He ran a personal best! It was a gorgeous day and Tom enjoyed riding in his back carrier.

BEWARE!

Charlie and Natalie helped me paint a sign to warn people of the dragon eggs in the garden. You don't want to wake them up!

Jumper

Tom loves jumping in his jumper. He gets some pretty good air, but I promise, Mom, he won't jump out.
(At the end, Gabe is asking me, "What you doing, Vicki?")

Telling Stories

Tom has been talking more and more lately. He loves to tell stories. I wouldn't believe a word he says though, he's been known to spin the truth when it suits him.
(The clinking in the background is Jake doing the dishes. Am I lucky or what?)

Snowing in Canyon Country

Sunday afternoon it started snowing in Canyon Country. We heard it hasn't snowed here in almost 30 years!
